Buy And Sell At The Musicmania Record Fair

Musicmania Olympia

One of London's biggest record fairs descends on Olympia this Saturday in the form of Musicmania. Buyers and sellers will come fact to face in a battle of the hagglers, as music and memorabilia change hands with the speed and dexterity of a Jimmy Bryant guitar solo.

From 10am to 4pm this Saturday (25 January) you'll be able to lay your hands on countless CDs, vinyl and cassettes, DVDs and videos, books, posters, autographed memorabilia, T-shirts and just about anything else connected to music that it's possible to buy and sell. From glam rock to what the Americans have taken to calling EDM, you can expect all genres to be covered by the massed ranks of music buffs in Kensington.

Should you be in possession of a large cache of music-related stock you could always cross the divide and become a seller yourself. Table prices range from £105 each for the day to a discount £315 for as many as five tables. Previous events have included stalls from record labels, fan clubs and Berwick Street-type retail outlets, as well as plenty of solo sellers looking to clear some room at home and make a few bob in the process. Full details for sellers can be found at the organiser's website.

For dedicated collectors or anyone else fancying a browse of the racks, entry is of course free. The organisers are expecting the biggest selection of vinyl and CDs in Europe this winter, and the event is handily timed just after the year's first pay day so you'll be well stocked of wallet. What better excuse do you need to stuff your record bag full of new swag?
