Santa's Lap: Punning London Cake Tins

Every day until Christmas we will be pointing you in the direction of a London-inspired Christmas gift that (with a bit of luck) you won’t already have on your list. Climb up onto our collective lap and we’ll see what we can move from our sack to your stockings…

caketins

We wanted to tell you about these last year, but by the time December rolled around they were sold out. So if you do happen to know someone who is obsessed with baking and London in equal measure they may already have these cake tins but if not – well, you could be their favourite person come Christmas Day. Both square, Angel (cake) measures 23cm and Victoria (sponge) measures 27cm and can nest inside each other for easy storage. RRP is £19.99 and they're available from places like Tesco and Amazon, but the Kitchen Craft website allows you to search for more local stockists. If you prefer a round cake, there's a Baking Street tin available for £9.99.

The tins are from the My London range that you might have seen in gift shops. Good also for fans of puns, you can get mugs with "Piccalilli Circus" and "Hollandaise Park" or coasters, trays, placemats, tea towels and pinnys with more variants.
