Santa's Lap: London Landmark Architectural Models

Every day until Christmas we will be pointing you in the direction of a London-inspired Christmas gift that (with a bit of luck) you won’t already have on your list. Climb up onto our collective lap and we’ll see what we can move from our sack to your stockings…

If yesterday's mega London Eye construction kit was a bit out of your budget, how about having a go at constructing mini versions of Barbican Tower, Battersea Power Station, Tower Bridge or Post Office Tower?

These neat architectural model kits created by London designer Aimée Furnival are made from etched stainless steel and cost around £15. They come flat packed and slipped into an envelope ready to be popped in your stocking. Instructions and a brief history of the building are also included.

MONUmini model kits are £15.50 from Another Studio. They are also stocked at Design Museum and Museum of London shops.
