These guys are a three piece, all female Parisian band. This track is from their debut EP The Silent Veil. They have since released an album called Please Her Pleased Him. Details
Tuesday 19 November
Rose Elinor Dougall, Sebright Arms
https://soundcloud.com/you-records/rose-elinor-dougall-future
This is a launch for her new solo EP, Future Vanishes. She has been writing and touring with Mark Ronson as part of his Business Intl project. This EP is a return to solo work and a full album is due out next year. Details
Wednesday 20 November
Worry Dolls + The Freewheel, Strongroom Bar and Kitchen, Shoreditch

This weeks DOUBLE BILL. Two amazing bands, playing the same venue — so you only pay once. But even better this is a FREE GIG! You can also hear a talk about Aliens. No I'm not kidding. Not an ordinary gig, but as it is free it won't cost you to be brave. Details
Rock Against Violence: Millie Manders, Jake Morley, Hunter and the Bear, O2 Islington
This is a great night, raising money for Solace Women's Aid. This is a London-based charity supporting women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence. They helped over 5,000 people last year alone. They desperately need your help to keep their services running. You get a night of amazing music, and they get a bit of your cash. If you can't make the event but still want to donate, see here. One of the performers, Millie Manders, also has a Christmas single due out this week. Details
Thursday 21 November
Edit/Select, Water Rats, Kings Cross
https://soundcloud.com/editselectband/lungs
This track is from the EP of the same name. Tickets are £10 but for that you also get a copy of the EP, which isn't a bad deal. Details
Bang Bang Romeo, The Monarch, Camden
https://soundcloud.com/bangbangromeo/invitation
This band is from South Yorkshire. Apparently they are a '60's inspired indie band'. I don't know. I do know they sound great. Details
Saturday 23 November
The Dirty Gentlemen, The Elgin, Ladbroke Grove
https://soundcloud.com/thedirtygents/take-care
FREE GIG. This is the perfect track to drink whisky to, but their other songs are louder, brassier and would almost make me put the scotch down. Almost. Details
Sunday 24 November
Elin Ivarsson, Slaughtered Lamb, Clerkenwell

This week's shameless favourite. Beautiful track, her voice is tender but also strong. I just found it captivating. She is from Sweden, but now lives in Brighton. Sweden's loss. Details
