Emma Allen specialises in intricate body paintings, which often expose organs and skeletal features beneath the skin of her subjects using UV light to heighten the effect. Indeed, you might have seen the popular video below, which shows an animated self-portrait of the artist's face ageing, decaying then rejuvenating and reincarnating. Black Light, an exhibition of her best work, photographed by Andre Ainsworth, goes on show at Dalston Superstore from 7pm today (private view) until 9 February 2014. Entrance is free.
