Find out if your date is a goat fancier

Elephant & Castle

It's the perfect weekend to find out what goes on down Walworth way at the 11th annual Elefest. How about an immersive Wicker Man disco experience? Show off your street style at the UK Skateboarding Film Festival and skate jam, go guerilla gardening, hang out at The StockMKT. Loads of events are free, ticketed ones are a fiver, or get a couple of weekend passes for £10.

Surrey Docks

Celebrate the harvest, explore a bit of Rotherhithe and meet the animals at Surrey Docks Farm on Saturday afternoon. Find out if your date is scared of ducks, a goat fancier or a llama lover. There'll be a bar and food plus Splat the Rat game, as well as crafty stalls and local produce.

Deptford

Explore contemporary arts festival Deptford X with this handy map of free exhibitions and events. Drop into the artsy Old Police Station's open day on Saturday, discover Lewisham Arthouse or just wander around, spotting installations on doors and walls until you find somewhere to stop for a drink. Download the full programme here.

Brixton

If you share a passion for food then there's a huge international food market happening for Brixton Food Fest on Saturday. Find out if your date likes rare breed burgers, traditional Ethiopian food, herbal teas, vegan cakes, Mexican guacamole, Jamaican patties, quinoa, cake pops and more. The Crafty Fox Market is also at the Dogstar on Saturday and Sunday, for those who agree that "crafting is the new clubbing".

Kentish Town

The Dandy Lion Market sets up in The Oxford pub, Kentish Town so you can browse art, craft and vintage wares and if things are going well, settle in for a pint and a roast or go and visit the animals at Kentish Town City Farm.
