Photographers have a chance to get up close to London Transport Museum's vehicle collection with two photography workshops and a photography evening.

The photography classes on Monday 28 October allow you access to the depot with your camera with no stray crowds or children around. The Mango Lab will give tips on different lighting conditions and help you hone your storytelling skills. You'll also get a special tour of newly restored Metropolitan Jubilee Carriage 353, built in 1898. These 3.5 hour workshops are only £35 per person. Please book in advance.

In the evening, the Depot is open for those who want a close up look at the collection and a chance to take photographs of it without the weekend crowds around. Doors will be open from 7-9.30pm for a limited number of people and tickets are £20 (again, please book in advance).

Other activities taking place between 28 - 30 October include a chance to sit in the cab of a tube train, a stop-frame animation workshop, family tours and creative travelling time-capsule sessions. Find out more and book tickets at www.ltmuseum.co.uk

Tube 150: Behind the Scenes Week takes palce at London Transport Museum's Acton Depot. Photography and family workshops and tours takes place 28-30 October and Acton Depot Open Weekend is 1-3 November.

N.B. The Mango Lab and Photography Open Evening workshops can be combined for an adult ticket for £45 and concessions £41 by booking by phone only 020 7565 7298.
