One day in London. It may only be 24 hours, but a lot can happen in that time.
nut follows the character of Elayne over the course of 24 hours in present day London. She doesn’t want company, but company won’t leave her alone. Friends and family come together around her, yet while opinions exchange, histories unfold and allegiances shift, Elayne is at risk of getting lost in the chaos of others. After all, no one’s really listening.
With a fantastically strong cast including Nadine Marshall (The Smoking Room, Henry VIII, Oroonoko) and directed by award-winning playwright debbie tucker green (random, generations), nut is fast-paced and challenging, questioning whether it’s possible to be surrounded by people, yet remain entirely alone.
nut is at The Shed between 30 October – 5 December. Tickets cost £12/£20. Book online or call the box office on 020 7452 3000.
