Poster Art At London Transport Museum Late

fridaylateThis friday, London Transport Museum stays open long into the evening, celebrating the extension of its popular Poster Art 150 exhibition. The display shows 150 of the best posters ever to grace the network, and forms part of the vast programme of events and exhibitions marking the underground's big 1-5-0.

As well as a chance to peruse the poster art, the evening will include the usual melange of distractions and activities. Miss Ballooniverse (we suspect that's a pseudonym) will entangle balloons into novelty shapes. A magician shall roam the halls, performing Victorian conjuring tricks. A fortune teller will make up stuff about your future. You can also expect giant games, face painting, a playing card design workshop, a scavenger hunt, a quiz and...oh, we're making ourselves giddy...just expect plenty of fun. And a bar. With special cocktails.

And, of course, all the usual and wonderful transport paraphernalia of the museum's permanent collection is there for you to explore. Tickets are £8 (adults only), which also represents a much cheaper way of getting into the museum than the usual door price of £15. Book here.
