The new NFL season got underway last Sunday and this year you won’t have long to wait to see teams in vital league action at Wembley. In just over two weeks the Minnesota Vikings arrive to host the Pittsburgh Steelers, while in the more traditional late October slot the San Francisco 49ers will return to play London’s new regular team, the Jacksonville Jaguars. The main block of tickets for both games sold out months ago, but this morning offers the opportunity to pick up the seats originally allocated to the participating clubs that they now will not be using. It’s a great opportunity to join over 80,000 other fans at what is becoming one of London’s most exciting and eagerly anticipated annual sporting spectacles.
Tickets for BOTH contests go on sale here this morning (Thursday 12 September 2013) starting at 10am UK time. There aren’t that many, and demand should be high, so if you’re keen to go you’ll need to grab some as quickly as you can. The cheapest available seats are behind the end zones at £35 each. Sideline views can be had for as little as £45, and if you want to go all out you can have Premium Club Wembley seats at the top price of £149. If you’re buying seats for the Jacksonville game you have the option of joining a loyalty programme spread across the fixtures both now and in the coming years with extra benefits attached. Londonist will be attending as usual and we hope to see you there!
