Aldo & Alberto, at Trattoria da Aldo, Greek Street. Aldo lives in Soho and has been running his Italian restaurant in Greek Street for 35 years; he’s a familiar sight to passers-by, usually seated at his favourite table outside. Pictured here with son Alberto, who now manages the trattoria.

The Very Miss Dusty O: Also known as the ‘Queen of Soho’, Dusty is the legendary host of Tranny Shack, which began in 1994 at the Raymond Revue Bar (now at Madame Jo Jo's in Brewer Street).

New portraits of Soho characters photographed against the backdrop of their daily lives are on show at Ambika P3.

Jayne Taylor set out to create an affectionate visual tribute to Soho, through its people and places. Six of her charming portraits are shared here, you can see more at the show. Also included in the display are an iphone-image montage and a set of 25 polaroid portraits taken at this year’s Soho Village Fete.

Long Live Soho! by Jayne Taylor can be seen in stereoscopic 3D at University of Westminster MA Photographic Studies show, Ambika P3 (opposite Baker Street tube) until Monday 9 September.
