UPDATE: Aha! Looks like we managed to sell them out. All tickets now reserved, though a few might be available on the door.
"Go to London! I guarantee you'll either be mugged or not appreciated. Catch the train to London, stopping at Rejection, Disappointment, Backstabbing Central and Shattered Dreams Parkway."
Thus opined Alan Partridge. But our fair city doesn't hold a grudge, and one London pub is planning an evening devoted to all things Partridge.
The Oxford Arms in Kentish Town will screen three favourite episodes from the various series, starting at 5pm on 8 September. Then, at 7pm, test your Alan knowledge with a quiz, covering all our heroes endeavours from his earliest TV and radio appearances up to new film Alpha Papa. A raffle will follow. Prizes have not been disclosed, but we hope they include shop-spoiled chocolate oranges and an Alan Partridge blazer badge and tie set. Rumour has it that Roger Moore is on his way to host.
Entrance is £5, with all proceeds donated to charity "(or, tell you what... we could up Lynn's salary to 9 and a half thousand pounds)". You're strongly encouraged to book in advance, as this will sell out faster than tickets to Norfolk Owl Sanctuary.
