Comedy Picks: Phoenix And Camden Fringe, Stewart Lee

isysuttie

The Edinburgh Fringe is in full swing, but there are still comedians gigging for you in London.

Phoenix Fringe

It's the last couple of days for the Phoenix Fringe. You can still pick up tickets for Isy Suttie this afternoon (4pm, pictured), and we seriously recommend Jen Brister (watch her in action below; 7pm) and Robin Ince's Dirty Book Club (10pm). Tomorrow, how about Shappi Khorsandi (6.30pm) or Nick Doody (8pm)? All tickets £8 + booking fee via We Got Tickets.

Camden Fringe

The Camden Fringe is still running all over NW1 (and, in fact, beyond). We recommend seeing James Dowdeswell riffing on booze at the Camden Head (12-14 August, 8pm, £6 / £5), American Erich McElroy's show about his native country's politics also at the Camden Head (14-19 August, 6.30pm, £7.50 / £6.50) and Susan Murray's dry wit at the Etcetera Theatre (14-15 August, 10.30pm, £8 / £7).

Resofit

Book ahead if you want to see this show on 11 September, a fundraiser for Resonance FM at the Bloomsbury Theatre. Because not only does the line-up feature Shazia Mirza, Rob Newman, Lewis Schaffer and Rosie Wilby, but Stewart Lee is around in his Baconface guise (£20 / £17.50 + bf).

Stewart Lee

While we're talking about Stewart Lee, now seems as good a time as any to point out his long run at Leicester Square Theatre (4 November-19 January, £15.50-£20.50) is on sale now. Book now before they all go.
