It's perhaps not a brief that'll appeal to everyone, but throughout the summer you've an opportunity to join a guided walk around the abandoned, crumbling and derelict buildings of London.
The walks coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Derelict London website, which has proved so popular it also spawned a book of the same name. The tours will be led by the site's owner and champion of forsaken buildings, Paul Talling.
Highlights include the "decaying premises of sail makers Caird & Rayner and the art deco Poplar Baths. Other sites include the remains of St Saviour's Church which survived the Blitz but not a recent fire, and the Limehouse Accumulator tower built in 1869 for regulating one of the first hydraulic power systems".
Paul's also throwing in some additional tours of London's lost rivers, a subject he's also published a book on. Here are your options:
