If you're more interested in the Iron Throne than who might succeed to the British Throne, then here's an event for you: a Game of Thrones pub quiz. Think you know your Baratheons from your Lannisters? (A distinction the two Houses often fail to manage.) Can you recite all the House sigils, mottos and lineages, while invoking the old gods and the new? Then you should probably diversify your cultural experiences somewhat.
Otherwise, head on down to The Monarch in Camden (Sean Bean's almost-local) for the specially themed pub quiz. The totally unofficial tie-in takes place on Monday 29 July, doors 7.30pm. It's £2 per person entry, and you're encouraged to book a table by emailing [email protected]. Or just turn up as Joffrey and demand to win.
