Pack the bucket and spade, and head off to the glorious sunny beaches of...Camden Town. The Roundhouse's mock beach reopens on the outdoor terrace on 27 July.
If last year's experiences are anything to go by, it's a hit-and-miss affair. Turn up on an overcast day, and you can have a relaxing old time lounging on a deck chair, digging your toes into the sand, trying your hand at ping pong, and sipping a piña colada. Turn up when the sun's shining, and you're going to get all sweaty and frustrated at the bar queues and lack of space. Choose your day wisely, or hire a beach hut for a guaranteed place in the sun.
