Swan Lake, Live From Russia In 3-D

Want to watch Swan Lake live at the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg this Thursday (6 June), but without leaving London? A couple dozen cinemas across town, including Vues, Odeons and independents, will be showing the Glass Slipper production, some in 3-D.

Conducted by Valery Gergiev and showcasing the talents of Ekaterina Kondaurova, the production is the first ballet to be broadcast worldwide live in 3-D. So it's kind of a big deal.

Our tip would be to head to the Vue in Leicester Square, where basement booze hangout BYOC will venture out to street level for the first time, joining the party the best way they know how – with Swan-Lake-inspired cocktails vailable at a private bar throughout the night. The dress code is Black Swan/White Swan.

We're currently daring each other to pull a Bjork on this one.

The Cocktail and Cinema Package costs £25 (plus booking fee) and are available here. Tickets to other venues can be booked here.
