Spitalfields Launches New Saturday Style Market

A new fashion design collective is descending on Spitalfields from this Saturday, bringing original fashion and interiors to a new weekly Style Market.

The Saturday Style Market will run from 11am to 5pm every Saturday with original clothing, accessories, homewares and ethical goods. Companies involved include hound and homewares specialist Edwyn UK, fashions from Amaya London, bags from Reclaim Bags, Japanese-inspired tailoring from Kiwi Sumo, jewellery from Burnish & Black and Brighton-based ethical board-riders store Bamboo Bay. This is just a handful of the more than 60 traders who will be at the market each Saturday.

Amanda Sutcliffe, designer for Amaya London says, "I've been coming to Spitalfields market for years. I love the atmosphere, getting lost amongst stalls full of wonderful things and meeting interesting people.

"Spitalfields Saturday Style Market [focuses on] hand crafted and unique design, promoting local business and building on the feeling of community that has always been in the heart and soul of the market. I'm very excited to be able to be a part of that."

Spitalfields Style Market runs from 11am to 5pm every Saturday at Spitalfields Market, Brushfield Street, Tower Hamlets, London, E1 6EW. Visit spitalfields.co.uk/saturday-style-market to find out more. Or check them out on Facebook or Twitter.
