London Stand Up And Sketch Comedy: 9-15 June

Where to find funny this week

Sunday 9 June: Romesh Ranganathan and Andrew Ryan preview their Edinburgh shows at the Albany's Comedy Cellar with Amused Moose (7pm, £8).

Monday 10 June: Two Episodes of Mash's laissez faire sketches aren't to everyone's taste, but dear god they don't let that stop them. See Diane Morgan and Joe Wilkinson try out new material at the Canal Cafe Theatre (7.30pm, £5).

Tuesday 11 June: Baconface: either an underground veteran Canadian comedian or Stewart Lee in a bacon mask: you decide at the Soho Theatre (9.45pm, £7.50).

Wednesday 12 June: Andy Zaltzman has created a cricket-themed comedy quiz night to celebrate The Ashes. This first one features Miles Jupp, Amol Rajan and Australian Kent Valentine, at Formans in Hackney Wick (7pm, £11.50).

Thursday 13 June: You might already be up for Comedy Back Rub in Camden on hearing that 2012 Edinburgh newcomer winner Daniel Simonsen is on the bill but we also liked Sarah Campbell's show last year; basically, excellent value for £1 (7.30pm).

Friday 14 June: Slapdash International Improv Festival lines up The Republic, Dogville and Shannon and Alan at The Nursery Theatre, SE1 (8pm, £7).

Saturday 15 June: We're not sure we love anything more than Aziz Ansari's open-mouthed-surprised-muppet-face as demo'd repeatedly on Parks and Recreation. See him do actual stand up at Hammersmith Apollo (from 6.30pm, £28.50 + bf).
