Graphic Novel Publisher SelfMadeHero Opens Bloomsbury Pop Up Shop

Independent graphic novel publisher SelfMadeHero is opening a temporary pop-up shop in Bloomsbury next week.

From Monday 17 June, visitors to Continental Stores on Tavistock Place will be able to browse the brand's diverse range of titles from adaptations to biographies, sci-fi to non-fiction. Special signed copies and other merchandise will be on sale. You can also meet the SelfMadeHero team and try coffee and cakes from the brilliant Eggs Milk Butter, London's finest coffee and comics shop.

Alongside the books, there'll also be a selling exhibition of paper-cut portraits by Czech artist Jaromir 99, celebrating his latest graphic novel of Kafka's The Castle, adapted by David Zane Mairowitz and Jaromir 99.

Some of the London-based artists and writers from the SelfMadeHero stable will drop into the store to chat about their work.

The SelfMadeHero shop will be open from 10am to 6pm every week day from 17 to 30 June, at 54 Tavistock Place, London, WC1H 9RG. Visit selfmadehero.com to find out more.
