1960s MUSIC: The Sohemian Society welcomes 1960s record producer Joe Boyd back into its folds tonight, to talk about the musicians he worked with in the 60s. £4, just turn up, 7.30pm

CLEAN ENERGY: View some inspirational photos of clean energy at this photo exhibition at the Forge in Camden. Featuring winning photos from the Friends of the Earth Clean British Energy and the Create Energy in Camden photography competitions, the exhibition launch is tonight. 1.3KM ART: The Red Bull Collective Art Exhibition arrives in London today. More than 2000 original pieces of artwork, created by individuals around the world, will come together to form a 1.3km 'collective art' exhibition in the Red Bull Studios by London Bridge. Free, just turn up, until 7 June
UKRANIAN LITERATURE: The Dash Cafe, English PEN and the British Ukrainian Society present a literary evening with Oksana Zabuzhko at Rich Mix. Free, just turn up, 7.30pm

PHOTOGRAPHY: Tonight PhotoVoice launches the Photographic Images Changing Society exhibition at Boxpark Shoreditch, which showcases the work of various organisations that aim to bring social positive change through photography. DJs and complimentary drinks will also be in attendance. Free, just turn up, 6-9pm
GYPSY ROMA MONTH: Explore the history, culture and languages of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities in Hackney this month. The launch will kick things off in Hackney Central Library this evening with a musical performance from members of London Gypsy Orchestra. Free, just turn up, 4.30pm
SRI LANKA PHOTOGRAPHY: The Brunei Gallery as SOAS hosts a charity evening in aid of the UK-Sri Lanka Trauma Group. Photographer Stephen Champion will be exhibiting and discussing his work - a photographic portrayal of post-war Sri Lanka. £5 donation on the door, just turn up, 6pm

ATLAS OF THE UNBUILT WORLD: Today the British Council’s international exhibition for the London Festival of Architecture 2013, will open at the Bartlett School of Architecture in central London. Atlas of the Unbuilt World will show how the built landscape is taking shape around the world. Free, just turn up, until 27 June
TATE MUSIC: Listen to live music from Simon Lord and DJs The Kramford Look in between browsing artworks and glasses of wine, at the Tate Modern Cafe. Free, just turn up, 7.30pm

COMMUNITY ART: Members of the public are invited to participate in the painting of three large polystyrene structures outside Lewisham Police Station from today. The exhibition, Povera, is the work of Michael Connell, a construction worker with a passion for art, and he will be auctioning off one of the pieces upon its completion in aid of Cancer Research. Free, just turn up, until 22 June.
KNIT: Knit In Public Week begins today and to encourage people to join the knitwagon, Loveknitting hosts a free, public knitting event in St Pancras station. Free, just turn up, 10am-5pm
CHEEKY MONKEYS: Join a Cheeky Monkeys Tea Party at Stepney City Farm today. There will be animal handling, pottery classes and farms tours, all are free but may ask for a small donation towards NCT Tower Hamlets - a charity that helps to support expectant parents. Free, just turn up, 1-4pm

ANATOLIAN CULTURAL FETE: Experience Anatolian culture at this free festival, with cultural exhibits, food, crafts, live music and performances that highlight the diverse history of the Turkish region. Free, just turn up, until 16 June
