The Horniman Museum's famously mal-stuffed walrus was recently packed away for a short trip to Margate, where he'll be on show at the Turner Contemporary gallery until September. The video above shows the delicate operation to lift the toothy, one-tonne mammal from his plinth and into a transport crate, and then out onto the streets of south London. Margate will be the closest he's got to the sea since the 1880s, when he was first put on exhibition in London.
