PUB CAMPAIGN: The Porcupine pub in Mottingham is under threat of being demolished and replaced by LiDL. Today sees local residents, MPs and CAMRA members attend a public rally at the pub. Free, just turn up, 10.30am
MILITARY SPECTACULAR: The Honourable Artillery Company lives in that impressive castle-like building on City Road. Once a year, it opens up to the public, and tonight's the night. As well as military displays and big guns, you can also clamber aboard a Chinook helicopter, drink in the HAC bar and — highlight of highlights — watch members of the RAF parachute in a few metres in front of you. Good Cause of the Day
Founded in 2011, Artbox London runs free weekly studio sessions providing a hub and materials for artists with learning disabilities to create art work. The studio is led by volunteers who support artists to develop their own unique art practice and empower them to sell their work through Artbox London exhibitions. Tonight, Artbox London artists will exhibit and sell their work at Nati Gallery on Warren Street. Get to know the artists and possibly buy some of their work — they receive 60% of the money from sales with 40% going back into the organisation. Free, just turn up, 5-9pm
