Suede And Keane Headline Kenwood's Outdoor Summer Concerts

The popular live concerts in the grounds of Kenwood House return this summer, with a combination of popular and classical-style music. Live by the Lake is the new name for the series, which took a break last year due to contractual issues.

Top of the bill are regrouped indie stalwarts Suede (23 August) and mega-selling keyboard-thumpers Keane (25 August).

Those who prefer something a little more orchestral with their pinot and Pringles have several choices. The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra join forces with the Royal Choral Society on 24 August, for an evening of choral greats. The same orchestra also feature on 31 August for some al fresco opera, and on 1 September for a spot of Gershwin. There's also a live screening of Singin' in the Rain on 30 August.

Discounts are offered to local residents, perhaps as a good-will gesture towards those who've complained about the noise in previous years. Kenwood House itself will reopen in the autumn following major renovations.

Tickets for the concerts are available now at various prices, and you can follow on Twitter @LiveByTheLake and Facebook.
