Sound Tracks: Hear Music On The Overground Trains

This weekend, parts of the London Overground network turn into one giant, linear gig. Sound Tracks on Saturday 11 May involves 12 hours of music and art at venues along the line, as well as live music on the trains themselves.

The event takes place at locations including and between Dalston and Peckham, including the Dalston Roof Park and Eastern Curve Garden, Dalston Oxfam, Hysteria, the Geffrye Museum, the Brunel Museum, Canada Water Library and the Bussey Building. The acts are as diverse as the venues, with headliners The Wave Pictures and Woodpecker Wooliams, plus everything from pop, to big brass funk, to a string quartet.

Tickets are £15, giving access to all venues, but you might be lucky enough to catch a free gig simply by riding the Overground.
