Excellent! A friend told me years ago about the Lancaster Gate-Paddington thing but I’ve never been able to remember which they were.

      Also there’s Bayswater and Queensway!

That Lancaster Gate – Paddington thing is very similar to travelling from Leicester Sq to Covent Garden. Don’t do it.

There are a couple that are also quite bad. Warren Street to Great Portland Street OR Regent’s Park to Great Portland Street are both about five minute walks or 15 minute tube journeys, but the tube map doesn’t quite trick you so much there. Also, Barbican to St Paul’s is a nice short walk or an annoying tube transfer.
