CHELSEA FRINGE: Horticultural happenings across with capital continue this week with Chelsea Fringe festival. There are dozens of events daily to choose from, most of which are free, so take a look and see what tickles your tillage. Until 9 June

BERLIOZ: London Symphony Orchestra play live al fresco in Trafalgar Square with a triple bill of Berlioz, which is suitable for all ages. Free, just turn up, 6.30-8pm
STORYTELLING: Helen East is back in Farringdon for another Islington storytelling walk. Free, just turn up, 7pm

DISCOVER V&A: Today and Thursday you can learn more about the world's most famous romance - that of Victoria and Albert - and how it led to the creation of the Royal Albert Hall. £3.50, prebook, 10am and 1pm
FAMILY CONCERT: Staying at the Royal Albert Hall, their very own Albert's Band perform a family concert today as part of their Family ignite concerts. The little ones are encouraged to attend in their favourite regal outfits (although we're sure Spidermans will still be welcomed). £5/£3.50, prebook, 12pm and 2.30pm

ART WORKSHOP: As part of View Tube's Art programme, today they host a family workshop featuring games and arts activities. Free, just turn up, 11am-3pm
IRANIAN FILM: The Duke Mitchell Film Club brings you Hollywood Iran Style, an evening of Iranian directors working in Hollywood B-Movies. Tonight's feature is Samurai Cop, alongside other Iranian-themed short films, a quiz and music. Free, just turn up, 7pm
CRAP FILM: Birdemic: Shock and Terror is screening for your viewing (dis)pleasure courtesy of the Crap Film Club tonight, complete with dodgy CGI vultures/eagles/owls/can't even make out what the other birds are. Free, just turn up, 8pm

THATCHER YEARS: Today is the last day you can see this free photography exhibition by Dave Sinclair. During the eighties Dave travelled all over Britain taking photographs of bleak post-industrial Britain, documenting the changes Thatcher made to Britain during that period. FREE COMEDY: That's right, there is no price on laughter (up yours consumeristic society) at The Invisible Dot's free comedy show. John Kearns headlines. Free, prebook, 7pm

FREE FILM: Today is the last day of the Herne Hill Free Film Festival, which has been a blessing not only for free films, but also for populating certain free and cheap London events listings pages.
