Having been turned into a restaurant last year (one we were quite fond of), the old petrol station just north of King's Cross station welcomes cinematic versions of the original vehicular patrons this spring, as it hosts a season of road movies.
There's an eclectic mix of car-based flicks to choose from, including Death Proof, Natural Born Killers, Badlands, Drive, Thelma & Louise and, obviously, Cars. Tickets are £16.50 including the booking fee, which puts them at a price not dissimilar to what the Odeon, Vue et al charge, although it's a lot steeper than The Cineroleum, a similar movie-in-a-petrol-station pop-up that charged just a fiver per film during its 2010 run.
