Random London Question of the Day
James O'Malley asks: If you packed as many people into the Shard as physically possible, would it collapse under the weight of everyone? Show your working.

Good Cause of the Day
The Honeypot Children's Charity looks out for "young carers who juggle school and growing up whilst performing a surrogate adult role at home". Basically, kids whose childhood is spent looking after an ill or drug-dependent relatives. As well as supporting such children, the charity also arranges for short breaks where they can make friends and share experiences. If you'd like to support this organisation, they're holding a charity skydive event on 23 June and a Three Peaks challenge on 21 July. Or you can simply donate here. @HoneypotCharity

London Weather
Spring finally wheezed its way into town over the weekend, but now lies recumbent, comatose in an armchair, while at least a week's worth of cloud sneaks in from the west. In summary: bollocks.
