Ticket Alert: Hard Rock Calling, Atoms For Peace And More

Here's our pick of gigs on sale this week. Tickets to all these should be available from around 9am on Friday.

This summer Hard Rock Calling moves from Hyde Park to its new home at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Headlining on June 29 and 30 are Kasabian and Bruce Springsteen, who returns despite having the plug unceremoniously pulled on him in 2012. Tickets £45 +bf.

Last month Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich played a low-key, late-night gig as Atoms for Peace at Oval Space. The full line-up also includes Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers, and you'll be able to hear their funky, mechanical sound at the Roundhouse on 25, 26 and 27 July. Tickets £49.50 + bf.

Also visiting the Roundhouse later in the year are Deep Purple. Although best known for 'Smoke on the Water', the long-term rockers are still recording. On 16 October they'll hit town in support of 'NOW What?!', their badly-punctuated forthcoming album. Tickets £35 + bf.

One of the most artistic and creative hip-hop acts of all time, De La Soul, head for The Forum in Kentish Town on 8 May. The Magic Number is £22.50 + bf (well, that's what tickets will cost you).

Singer-songwriter Tom Odell has already bagged a Brit and seems to be getting the kind of exposure that should guarantee massive commercial success this year. If his Coldplay-esque crooning is your cup of tea then see him at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on 22 October. Tickets £14.50 + bf.

Also booking this week: Art Brut, Devendra Banhart and, um, Craig David.
