London Stand Up And Sketch Comedy: 24-30 March

Where to find funny this week

Sunday 24 March: Phill Jupitus joins the Comedy Store Players regular crew of Josie Lawrence, Neil Mullarkey, Andy Smart, Lee Simpson and Richard Vranch at the piano (7.30pm, £17 / £12).

Monday 25 March: Doctor Brown's run of his Edinburgh winning show Befrdfgth (pictured) sold out its previous Soho Theatre run, so there's a new, mammoth run this spring (on until 20 April, 7.30pm, £12.50-£20).

Tuesday 26 March: It's a bit obvious to call a Canadian nice, but Mae Martin really is. She's trying out new material at the Hen and Chickens (7.30pm, £7.50).

Wednesday 27 March: Help raise money for Action Aid by heading to the Good Ship in Kilburn and paying £10 to see Nick Mohammed, Helen Arney, Thomas Nelstrop, Ed O'Meara, Jamie Demetriou and Nish Kumar hosting. Sounds fair to us (7.30pm).

Thursday 28 March: Mat Ricardo has bagged two fabulous comedy guests - Al Murray and The Boy With Tape On His Face - for his London Varieties night at Leicester Square Theatre, plus magic from Peter Wardell and music from Elliot Mason (9.30pm, £15 / £12.50).

Friday 29 March: Another show that's back for a second bite after a sell-out run, Nick Prueher and The Onion's Joe Pickett head to the Soho Theatre to show you clips of VHS tapes they've found in charity shops and garage sales all over North America (9.30pm, £15 / £12.50).

Saturday 30 March: Tony Law headlines the Hampstead Comedy Club, with Richard Todd, Josephine Lacey and Craig Murray. Ivor Dembina hosts (8.30pm, £10 / £8.50).
