A rare opportunity to ascend the BT Tower takes place on 16 May 2013. Barretstown and the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust are hosting a third annual charity event to raise money for young people with cancer. Unlike previous years, there's no need to climb up all the stairs this time. For a one-off entry fee, you get to ride the lift all the way to the 189 metre viewing deck.
The ticket costs £50, which will be split between the two charities, and includes light refreshments and a glass of bubbly.
