Tickets are on sale now for the next FEAST London event, which takes place in March within the suitably cavernous surroundings of Tobacco Dock, Wapping.
Basically it's a chance to graze on great food served up by some of the capital's better chefs, restaurateurs and food-slingers, including Mishkins, Pizza Pilgrims, Caravan, Bone Daddies and The Last Days of Pisco. Timed tickets cost £8 / £9 depending on which time and day you visit (Friday & Saturday evening are more expensive) and you'll have to fork out extra for food once you're inside, though the organisers assure that it'll be "reasonably priced".
Built in the early 19th century as a warehouse, Tobacco Dock was revamped as a shopping centre in the late 1980s. As we've seen before, the early Nineties recession and a relatively obscure location saw it fail spectacularly, but in recent years the impressive building has been re-used to host various events such as Secret Cinema, a tattoo convention and, during the Olympics, a makeshift barracks.
FEAST London runs from 7-10 March 2013 at Tobacco Dock, Wapping.
