London Stand Up And Sketch Comedy: 3-9 February

Where to find funny this week

Sunday 3 February: Pat Cahill, Rosie Wilby, Tiernan Douieb, Peter White and a handful of other comics play Twice as Nice in Hammersmith from 8pm (£5).

Monday 4 February: Peep Show's Isy Suttie (pictured) headlines Happy Mondays at the Amersham Arms in New Cross, with support from Robert White and Jarlath Regan. Holly Walsh is on MC duties (8pm, £5).

Tuesday 5 February: Head to the Soho Theatre to see Australian Sarah Kendall look at what kind of example we're setting for girls, inspired by the birth of her own daughter (9.15pm, £10-£15).

Wednesday 6 February: Tickled Pig at the Canal Cafe Theatre presents established and new acts alongside each other. Tonight see Tony Law, Nish Kumar, Kate Lucas, Max Dickins, Pete Starr, Oliver Noakes and Sam Chaplin (7.30pm, £8.50 / £7.50).

Thursday 7 February: You could either get a fix of technology in Hackney at All Your Internet Are Belong To Us (8pm, £5) or head to Conway Hall for Stand Up for Darwin, with Robin Ince, Kate Smurthwaite, Helen Arney, Iszi Lawrence, Dean Burnett, Rosie Wilby, Nick Doody, Gemma Arrowsmith, Taylor Glenn and Luke Meredith (7.30pm, £10 or pay what you can).

Friday 8 February: Crack Comedy in Wimbledon presents a night of sketch, with The Beta Males, The Real MacGuffins and Joseph Morpurgo, who you may have seen in brilliant improv group Austentatious (8pm, £10 / £6).

Saturday 9 February: Catch twinkly Joe Lycett's show Some Lycett Hot, which got him nominated for Best Newcomer in Edinburgh, at the Soho Theatre (7.15pm, £12.50 / £10).

Book ahead: There are a few seats left to see the brilliant, far more to him than The Thick Of It Chris Addison at the Southbank Centre on Monday, but there's more choice if you wait until 28 March (7.30pm, £20).
