On 1 March, hairy axemeister Brian May and West End star Kerry Ellis will launch a three-week programme of events at St Pancras to promote tiger conservation. The Tiger Tracks campaign is billed as 'the world's largest event to save tigers', and will see musicians, artists, authors, conservationists and other performers prowling around the station, spreading tiger love.

May and Ellis will kick things off at 6pm, with the biggest ever 'station session'. We're just speculating here, but surely...surely...they'll offer a power-chord-fuelled rendition of Eye of the Tiger. And how about a zoologically confused duet of The Lion Sleeps Tonight?

In the weeks following the gig, you can expect to see feline statues, tiger-themed children's events, tiger-tracking visuals, and lots of tiger-inspired merchandise and drinks around the complex. Grrrr.
