Now it’s turned its attention to the wider contemporary art scene. Though it can’t feature every major contemporary artist, the roster is impressive. It includes famous names such as Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Picasso, David Mach, Anish Kapoor and many more.
As the name of the exhibition suggests, the focus is on artists who use societal, political and cultural themes to bring about an emotional response from the viewer. With so many big names involved it’s likely to be an exhibition worth seeing.
Contemporary Emotion is on display at Opera Gallery, 134 New Bond Street, W1S 2TF from 13 February to 9 March. Entrance is free.
