Random London Fact of the Day
Edgware Road Tube station contains Europe's largest vitreous enamel artwork. Just one of many factlets gleaned from Diamond Geezer's ongoing tour of the oldest parts of the Underground network.

London Weather
Forbidding clouds choke the skies, a miserable mantle of obsidian. Southwesterly winds blow ill, auguring great famine and destitution across the land. Nought save an holy hecatomb can now assuage the yoked might of Summanus and Jupiter, commingled in that dread forge of Vulcan, where the very thrones of Olympus were quondam wrought. Shake, feeble villeins, for your day of reckoning is at hand. No rain, though...which is nice. BBC Weather has a less Homeric forecast.
