Ticket Alert: Frank Turner, Counting Crows, James Yuill And More

Looking to go to a gig? Here's our pick of tickets on sale this week. All should be available from around 9am Friday.

It's been a while since US rockers Counting Crows visited London, so fans will welcome their visit to Hammersmith Apollo on 22 April. Tickets £37.50 + bf.

Move slightly north and a couple of days later Frank Turner and his band The Sleeping Souls will play The Forum. It'll be his first London gig since a not-so-secret appearance at The Wheelbarrow in Camden on New Year's Day. Catch him on 25 April. Tickets £22.50 + bf.

James Yuill melds sounds from his guitar, decks, laptop and voice to create 'folktronica' that can be startlingly original. See him at the Sebright Arms on 4 March. Tickets £9 + bf.

Having sold millions of records, Katie Melua's soft, lilting voice has the power to fill big venues. She'll play the Roundhouse on 2 October. Tickets £37.50 + bf.

Finally, you might argue that what The Pigeon Detectives lack in sophistication they make up in shouty good fun. See if they're more than a festival filler band when they play Dingwalls on 9 May. Tickets £15 + bf.

Also booking this week: Veronica Falls, Delphic, John Grant and Gold Panda.
