Friday 1 February
LIVE ART: Merging Inks is a live collaborative art jam. Artists, designers, a baker, crafters, musicians and poets will create a collection before your eyes at Ravensbourne, opposite the O2. RSVP for £5 advance tickets, starts 7pm.
QUEER FILM: A weekend of Classic, Camp and Cult: Queer Film starts at the V&A with a special screening of one of the first gay-themed films ever to get a widespread release in North America. Watch Outrageous in the Sackler Centre. Book tickets online £4/£3, event starts 7pm.
DOCUMENTARY: First Friday Film Club shows The Year of the Beaver, following the 2 year long strike at the Grunwick photographic processing plant in London in the 1970s at the Fire Station, Mayton Street, Holloway. Tickets £5/£3, starts 7.30pm.
Saturday 2 February
NEWS: Comedians, politicians, campaigners and journalists Crunch the News at the Old Red Lion, Islington. Tickets £5, starts 12.15pm.
Sunday 3 February
WONDER: Join the Sunday Assembly and regain a sense of wonder with with super particle physicist Harry Cliff, "the Science Museum's chief tiny thing explainer" plus songs and readings and no religion at all at The Nave, 1 St Paul's Road, N1. Free, starts 11am.
