Ticket Alert: Suede, Springsteen, Everything Everything And More

Bruce Springsteen

Christmas has come early if you're looking for live music for next year, because there's a bumper crop of new gigs on sale this week. Tickets to these should be available from around 9am Friday.

After The Boss had the plug pulled on him this year, it seems likely Hyde Park won't see another Bruce Springsteen gig. Central London's loss is Wembley's gain though - expect a three-hour set at the stadium on 15 June. Tickets from £50.00 + bf.

Fronted by the androgynous Brett Anderson, the incomparable Suede have played venues as small as The 100 Club and as big as The O2 since reforming in 2010. Now they've announced a date at Alexandra Palace, on 30 March. Tickets £32.50 + bf.

The annual shebang of the NME Awards shows rolls back into town in February. Highlights include Dinosaur Jr at the Electric Ballroom (£20.60 +bf), Everything Everything at Heaven (£15.60 +bf) and The Cribs at O2 Academy Brixton (£20.60 + bf).

Also in Brixton, you might choose to step back in time with ska legends The Specials. They've announced a night of two-tone nostalgia on 28 May. Tickets £37.50 + bf.

A Smiths reunion might be as far off as ever, but few guitarists can match the pedigree of Johnny Marr. In recent years he's been a full-time member of The Cribs and helped write the score for Inception. Now he's recorded a solo album, due for release in February. Catch him at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on 15 March. Tickets £22.50 + bf.

Finally, next year's Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at the Royal Albert Hall have been announced. Curated by Noel Gallagher, they include Ryan Adams, Kasabian, Damon Albarn and Primal Scream. Tickets from £25 + bf.

Also booking this week: Eels, Darwin Deez and Little Comets and Alicia Keys.
