Santa's Lap: Vintage London Map Bracelets

Every day until Christmas we will be pointing you in the direction of a London-inspired Christmas present that (with a bit of luck) you won’t already have on your list. Climb up onto our collective lap and we’ll see what we can move from our sack to your stockings…

Etsy retailer, Jezebel Charms, has made these brass cuff bracelets using imagery from an antique, late 19th century map of London.

There are two different ones available; one that covers Richmond, Fulham, Chelsea and Greenwich, and one of central London, featuring Trafalgar Square, Charing Cross, Cleopatra's Needle, Victoria Embankment, Waterloo Bridge, London Bridge and more. Both have the River Thames picked out in turquoise blue.

The makers describes them as "slightly Victorian with a certain Steampunky-ness". We think they're striking and unusual and at £25.60, an affordable piece of limited edition London jewellery. Be quick though - there aren't many left.

Jezebel Charms also do brass cuffs with literary quotes. Have a look.
