Tonight: London Gay Men’s Chorus @ Angel Tube Station

London Gay Men’s Chorus can now legally drink in the US – huzzah! In other words, 21 years ago this month, nine members of the original chorus staged a concert/protest outside Angel Tube station. Fresh from their popular seasonal show “It’s Comin’ on Christmas” at the Queen Elizabeth Hall last weekend, some of the now 150-strong chorus will be honouring their first “outing”.

At 5pm today (Monday 10 December) the LGMC will be staging a free show outside Angel tube – only this time they’ll try not to provoke a full closure. It’s free, so pop along before the commute and check out the tuneful tenors – it’ll have more snap than a cracker full of party poppers.
