London Stand Up And Sketch Comedy: 18-24 November

Where to find funny this week

Sunday 18 November: Lucy Porter, Tiffany Stevenson, Kate Smurthwaite, Viv Groskop, Joel Dommett, Suzi Ruffell, Chris Coltrane, Joe Wells and John-Luke Roberts join the campaign against Page 3 and Stand up to Sexism at the Harold Pinter Theatre (7pm, £20 / £15).

Monday 19 November: Sketch group Wit Tank are back at the Courtyard Theatre in Shoreditch for their autumn residency, with some special guests (8pm, £5).

Tuesday 20 November: Invisible Dot have got four Edinburgh shows from four fabulous comedians over the next four nights at their Kings Cross base, starting with Best Newcomer winner Daniel Simonsen (7.45pm, £8), then Andrew Maxwell, Reginald D Hunter and Claudia O'Doherty.

Wednesday 21 November: We picked Mitch Benn's Distraction Club as our 'best music-themed comedy night', but you should also check out Jonny and the Baptists' Congregation at Leicester Square Theatre. This week's guests are Bridget Christie, Jay Foreman and the aforementioned Mitch Benn (9.30pm, £8).

Thursday 22 November: We have a soft spot for the loveable rascals in Sheeps, with their smart and silly sketches. See them at Soho Theatre until Saturday, then Thursday-Saturday next week as well (9.45pm, £10-£15).

Friday 23 November: Marcus Brigstocke (pictured) is at Blackheath Halls making a case for restructuring society: The Brig Society, no less (8pm, £16 / £14).

Saturday 24 November: James Acaster, Yianni Agisalaou and Matthew Osborn are at 99 Club Islington, with Matt Green MCing (8.30pm, £10 / £15 with pizza).
