It maybe the worst kept secret in recent rock history, but The Rolling Stones are officially playing In London in November at the O2 Arena.
The legendary pensioners will play two dates on 25 and 29 November to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
Right, time to take a breath. Tickets go on sale this Friday, 19 October at 9am, so best start thinking of a sickie excuse now because you’re going to be refreshing your browser and waiting on hold for hours – but it will be worth it.
There won’t be any of that stripped back, back to your roots malarkey. It is going to be the kind of full on show you expect from the Stones.
Their infamous lips logo will be used as a stage with the tongue stretching out in to the crowd so Jagger can writhe about – actually, best not think about that — and a massive screen will let their original fans see what is happening on stage
It is the first time they have played together since a three night stint in the same venue in 2007, and let’s face it, probably the last.
