Delays Hit Central Line Commuters

It's not a happy morning for Central line commuters today. There's no westbound service between Liverpool Street and White City due to an obstruction on the track at Holland Park, with severe delays on the rest of the line.

There is also no service between Newbury Park and Grange Hill via Hainault from Monday 29 October until Friday 2 November while planned engineering works are carried out.

Fortunately, at the moment there is a good service on the rest of the line.

Keep an eye on TfL's website for live updates or the Central line Twitter feed.

No westbound service between Liverpool Street and White City - can they not ease the pain and suspend the line between Liverpool Street and Marble Arch? That section of the line is one that can be switched on or off and I believe trains can be turned around at Marble Arch. Or is it a case of some other factor preventing trains from turning around at Marble Arch?
