Tower Of London Has World's Longest Facebook Timeline

While some people moan about Facebook's introduction of the Timeline — a feature that shows the user's history in reverse chronological order — the Tower of London is using it to full advantage. The ancient fortress has filled in its doings right back to 1066. Scroll back to discover when the Crown Jewels were saved from fire, or the first reported sighting of a ghost in the Tower.

Historic Royal Palaces reckons that it now has the oldest genuine Timeline on the social networking site, at least until Bruce Forsyth fills in his history.

Not the only timeline and actually another FB Page beat them to it.

I think the fact that the timeline is 'capped' means that a lot of pages will go back as far as they can but clearly have a lot more history than provided on the page. It certainly seems to be raising some good debates among users.
