London's buskers are a diverse bunch. They come in all shapes and sizes, from inept clarinet warblers in the corridors of the tube to classical music students on the South Bank.
Since its launch in 2003, the London Underground Busking Scheme has meant music-making of various quality accompanies London commuting, but the soul of the busking world still belongs on the streets. From Brick Lane to Brixton — where the steel drum band outside Iceland brighten up many a chilly day — musicians daily brave the elements to earn some change.
