Preview: Fashion's Night Out 2012

If you love designer gear, the Next Top Model franchise, blagging into glamorous parties and high end shopping then check your credit card balance and start planning Thursday's outfit as Vogue brings Fashion's Night Out back to London.

If you love none of the above but appreciate people watching and free entertainment, there's something for you too.

Hundreds of stores across the West End and beyond will be open late for "the sartorial equivalent of Christmas".

The fashion fiesta will perk up our famous shopping streets with fun stuff. Expect in-store DJs, live music and performances, limited edition free gifts if you spend a lot of money, previews of new collections, models hanging about, photo opps, famous faces, catwalk shows, competitions and parties.

Bond Street will be pedestrianised and host a music stage, there's more live music at TopShop Oxford Circus, cupcakes at Conde Nast, a fashion fun fair at Liberty's, a coconut treasure hunt round House of Fraser and a roller disco in Mayfair.

If you're less about shopping and more about spectacle head for Burlington Arcade where the Last Tuesday Society host the Beadle's Burlesque circus evening between 6-9pm.

If you're not bothered with fashion but fancy ligging it round London for a night, use the FNO interactive map and filter by 'Free drinks'.

If you fancy buying the official FNO t-shirt from GAP you'll be helping to raise money for Refuge.

Fashion's Night Out happens on Thursday 6 September from 6pm. Plan your night with the interactive map.

Have a look at photos of last year's event.
