Paralympic Lowdown: Monday 3 September

During the London 2012 Paralympic Games we’ll bring you a daily heads-up on what’s happening where, including sporting and cultural events, transport and weather.

Top things to see and do

  • Catch live music, theatre and performance at Hays Galleria 12pm-4pm.
  • Abnormally Funny People are doing a Paralympics special at the Soho Theatre, with comedians Mat Fraser, Liz Carr, Tanyalee Davis, Steve Best, Don Biswas and Lost Voice Guy (7pm, £12.50 / £10).
  • The Proms celebrate 70 years of Desert Island Discs (7.30pm, £8.50-£44).

Transport hotspots

This week is public transport's real test as schools start to go back. Kings Cross station and the Central and Jubilee lines will be very busy at rush hour, the DLR busier than usual. Here’s your daily heat map.
