A celebratory circus, free cupcakes, fun activities for kids and flash sales from retailers will mark the first birthday of Westfield Stratford City this weekend.
The festivities start on Friday with jugglers, magicians and mime artists in the South Gallery on the ground floor, shopper bag and party hat decorating in the Great Eastern market and stilt walkers and clowns in the Northern ticket hall. Watch out for free treats being given away, including candy floss and popcorn.
The birthday bash coincides with the reopening of all the car parks, post Olympics, so car park lobbies will also be hives of activity where you can pick up offer booklets and fortune cookies with special shopping offers inside.
The first birthday celebration runs from Friday 21 September until Sunday 23 September. Check out opening times and what’s on here.
